Screams in a Pod
About
Screams in a Pod is an action-packed arcade-style game where you play as a spaceship refueling on earth. The goal is to catch as many earthlings as possible with your capture pod in order to keep your ship fueled. Try to last as long as you can – but watch out! While some earthlings will give you extra fuel (like cows) others will wreck your ship and cause you to lose fuel (children)!

My Contribution
For this project I worked in the position of (lone) producer and sound designer. I organized a kanban/backlog for the project and ensured that the team had enough time to accomplish what we wanted to do with the prototype. I helped steer design choices to make the game more fun, more difficult, or less difficult, depending on how our playtests went. As a team we decided on our vision for the game (silly, campy, over the top) and I helped everyone stick with that vision. I facilitated playtest sessions, then helped the team decide which feedback could be helpful for informing game design. I acquired and edited sound clips, and also mixed and edited the music in Garageband. I made sure team members felt supported and kept in communication with each other.
